I'm so glad this was part of our visit to St. Maartin. Our guide was as funny as he was educational. This was one of the highlights of our cruise, if you have the opportunity, you must visit.
We loved our visit. As a beekeeper I can certainly relate to planting a butterfly garden. Butterflies and honeybees are attracted to many of the same plants. It is a great way to help the planet and relate to nature.
The best thing ever! They even let you take dead butterflys for science projects! We went twice and learned more the last time!!!
Awesome! We've visited twice.
We just visited your Butterfly Farm last week. It was truly beautiful and we learned a lot. Our 12 year old daughter was with us and she just loved exploring and watching for the beautiful "blue" butterflies that were flying about our heads. One butterfly even landed on her! It is truly a magical place!
We absolutely loved the Butterfly Farm! One of the most unique excursions one can take on St. Martin. We'd been there once before and could never capture those elusive blue creatures midair so we brought our video camera this time! We'll see if we could keep up with them this time :-)
WE COULD ONLY STAY FOR HALF AN HOUR DUE TO OTHER COMMITMENTS AND I WAS REALLY SAD TO LEAVE AS I COULD HAVE SPENT HOURS JUST SITTING QUIETLY AND ABSORBING THE TRANQUILITY GENERATED BY THE BUTTERFLIES. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT WORK YOU ARE DOING IN PRESERVING THE SPECIES.
We were at the Butterfly farm in St. Martin earlier this month. We have always wanted to stop there, but we always seem to think the beaches are more important. We had a marvelous experience. We actually spent 2 days visiting the farm. It is a remarkable place. Our grandson loves butterflies, so I took about 50 pictures to share with him. I also bought him one of the cases with butterflies in it. He keeps asking us when he can go to the Butterfly farm. I also had the incredible experience of having a Blue Morpho on my finger with it's wings wide open. It was a newly born beauty. I would recommend the farm to anyone.
I wanted to say how much I enjoyed our visit to St. Martin's butterfly farm. It was very enjoyable and our guide was very knowledgeable about the life cycle of the butterflies..I enjoyed looking at all the unusual and rare species as well. We were a long way from home (California) and appreciated that the guide took the time to tell us about the butterflies our area...
I thought you have a very beautiful and informitive web site. keep up the good work.
We enjoyed our visit with our parents & grandparents. The butterfly's came right over and sat on our fingers.
