What a wonderful visit to The Butterfly Farm in Aruba on Tuesday, May 15. Our tour was great & we learned some much from our guide. We even returned early the following morning to see the farm come alive. Many thanks to Tony & his team.
Just visited the butterfly farm on St. Maarten - fantastic! A lovely, peaceful place to visit, excelletn viewing of the species, very informative guide. Highly recommended!
For ten years, I would say "I'm going to the butterfly farm this year". This year I finally went. It was better than I could have imagined. I am sorry I waited so long. I will be back. The staff was informitive and very sweet.
What a friendly and informative group of people! I will be sure to visit when I come to St. Martin again!
Visited the butterfly farm in St. Martin. It was fantastic. Recommend it to everyone.
I really enjoyed the butterfly farm! It was pretty amazing seeing the butterfly cycle in real life. I learned the difference between chrysalis and a cacoon. I didn't even know that there was a difference. My 5 yr old cousin really liked it as well. A butterfly landed on him and he became ecstatic! It was great. Thanks so much for opening your farm out to the public. I hope to revisit again soon.
We really enjoyed the Butterfly Farm in St. Martin ! The large blue butterflies were awesome ! The huge moths were amazing. It was fun looking for butterflies, as they were camoflaged, at times, with the foliage. We got some great photos. I must say, those blue ones sure are quick. Loved the giftshop....lots of wonderful things in there. I love my butterfly farm travel mug.
We would like to be kept informed as to how we can help the population of butterflies in our area, southwest Ohio, USA
Visited your farm just last week with a friend. Our visit was the highlight of our week long cruise. Thanks for the ideas to cultivate our own butterfly farm. Hanson, MA
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit: was pleasantly surprised! Just couldn't get the butterflies to hold still for photos!
My wife, two year old son and I visited the "Farm" on April 1, 2012, while on a cruise. We all enjoyed the information and beautiful butterflys. My son picked one lf the blues up and we thought that there would be one less. But he just held it and looked at it as though he was a scientist examining a valued specimen. We will be returning sometime in the future. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH from Alaska with LOVE.
We visited St. Maarten last week from Israel and the Butterfly Farm was one of the highlights of our trip. We learned so much and the kids had so much fun trying to catch the butterflies on their fingers. The entire setting was beautiful and it was so pleasant to sit there and listen to the classical music. Thank you!
visited the butterfly farm a few weeks ago while on a cruise. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Got wonderful pics of the butterflies in the viewing room and lots of cute souveniers for my granddaughter in the shop. Very pleased to hear about the work they are doing to protect the different species and to encourage visitors to plant seeds that will grow to support local species. We will plant plants that will attract the butterflies here in Canada on the west coast.
We were really impressed with your "Farm" on St. Maarten (2012). The Butterfly's and Giant Moths were spectacular. And when some landed on us it made our visit complete. The short presentation provided before we wandered the farm was very interesting and revealing about Butterflys. We enjoyed our visit imensely and will include visits to other farms when traveling.
Pete and the visit to The Butterfly Farm of St. Martin was the highlight of my Ruby Princess cruise! (4/1/2012-4/8/2012) It was truly a joy to see these wonderous creatures so closely! I was sorry to have to leave the farm so soon. I could have observed the butterflies for hours! I will be planting my milkweed seeds as soon as the weather allows! Thank you, Pete, and your associates for sharing your passion and knowledge of the lovely gift of the butterfly!!
My wife and I visited the Butterfly Farm in 2007. It was an AMAZING experience to see the Beauty of butterflies up close and actually have them land on us.We plan on visiting the farm in Aruba on our next visit.Would recommend this experience to anyone. Thanks so much for everything.
We too visited the farm on St Marten on 4/4/12. There were 6 of us visiting and you happened to tell us that Northern Virginia has 6 different varieties of Swallowtail and we had no idea. We definitely are going to plant milk weed and try and create a haven for butterflies. Our visit was too short but we have lots of photos to send. Janis, Phil, Emma, Deb, Butch and Rosa Lee.
What a great experience we had at the butterfly farm. Wonderful place that you can actually walk round with the butterflies all around you. My daughter Anna even managed to have one sit on her finger. Great photo and lovely memories. The tour guide what fabulous. Time was too short. Thanks again. Alison,Iain,Anna and Matthew. (from Scotland)
