FAQ about visiting the farm
- What is the 'guided tour'?
We have so much for you to see and learn at the Farms we don’t want you to miss anything! So we offer a guided tour included in the entrance fee. The tour lasts for approximately 20-25 minutes but you are welcome to stay as long as you like. The longest you would have to wait for a tour is 15 minutes during which time you can relax in the gardens with the butterflies. - No need to book in advance except for groups 20+! Just get your tickets when you arrive at reception.
- What is the free return pass?
All our visitors are given a return pass which allows you to visit us as often as you like for the duration of your vacation. It is not transferable. - What is the best time of year to visit?
The Butterfly Farm has hundreds of butterflies flying at any given time 365 days a year. We are blessed with temperatures in the 80’s year round, so anytime is a great time to visit! Mornings are generally best when the butterflies are most active and this is the best time to witness butterflies emerging from their chrysalis. The afternoons are great for photography when the butterflies slow down a little. - What are the opening hours?
